I'm actively involved in research in cyber defense, the human factors of cyber operations, augmented and virtual reality, visual language and multi-modal communication, human-machine-interaction, defensive deception, the game theory of cyber defense and deception, cognitive psychology in cyber environment, oppositional human factors, and human cognition.

Most of my writing is technical, but I've been known to dabble in ad hoc discussions of ethics, culture, society, smatterings of poetry, and plan for a future full of fantastical fiction.

The future is made of maleable materials and the merger of the meat-space and make-believe. That is, we live in meat-space but most of us spend our free time in lands of make-believe.
